It is our last full day in Mexico City. I can honestly say my speaking abilities haven’t improved much beyond the 3rd grade level but my understanding has definitely gotten better!
This morning we went to the neighborhood known as La Condessa. It was quaint and I found myself near a bar owned by a guy I follow on Instagram. So we said, “what the heck” and went to The Dog House Pub where I finally found craft beer after being here for over 10 days. Why didn’t I go here sooner?!
The quote from Oscar Wilde speaks to me. Except I have no work now….I’m quite simply, a lady of leisure.
We also stumbled upon some cool street art and a “CDMX” sign with no tourists around! So of course, we did our best tourist poses.
We’re now at the hotel bar saying goodbye to the “Amy Fan Club.” They have all been really nice and I like to think they’ll remember this crazy mother/daughter duo!!
