My new friends have all left. So I’m left to my own devices: iPad, camera, cell phone, Bumble. I could not fall asleep last night. It was well after 1am when I think I finally fell asleep. Not surprisingly, I was awake before 8am but I promised myself NO NAP today. I have to get up at 6am tomorrow because I’m heading to…. GALWAY and the CLIFFS OF MOHER!! The quintessential green Ireland that I didn’t get to see when I came here for work in December 2017.
Today was more of “wandering without a plan” and as hard as I tried to get lost, I kept finding myself on familiar streets. Oh well…it was fun just to try.
Stumbled upon this cute little building that put a smile on my face. I guess if a building could symbolize my time in Ireland, it would be this one…a multitude of colors, people, and a never ending smile plastered to my face.
I finally found the Oscar Wilde memorial statue and even the house where he grew up (down the street from where he was born).
Tomorrow will be a looong day – we’re not expected back in Dublin until 8pm! I’ll blog Thursday morning as I start saying goodbye to Ireland. I depart Friday morning for ____________. Yep, I decided that I’m not telling anyone where my next stop is. I’m not ruining the suspense for you so I insist you follow the blog to figure out “where in the world is Amy?”
