Home??!

You know those cities where it just feels like “home.” Sevilla was like that as soon as I stepped off the train. For some reason, I feel like home in this quaint, charming little town that speaks Dutch. I’m currently in Bruges, Belgium. A horse has spit on my leg (not on purpose of course) and I didn’t mind. Not one bit. In fact, I laughed at it. Either I’ve been drugged and brought to some strange town or I’m just happy here. It doesn’t hurt that I have an actual hotel room with air conditioning even though the weather has cooled down a lot. Well cool enough for the pissing statue in Brussels to be wearing a coat finally. Tomorrow I’ll be off on my own kind of tour. Walking around getting lost and stumbling on cool things. I might just coin this type of travel and sell it.

Two doors down from my hotel is a beer tasting bar, ‘t Brugsch Bieratelier, and I already know I’ll be a regular here. This is my tribe. Hoppy, happy, beer tasting! The bartender has already predicted I’ll be back in Bruges again. Hmmmm. That sounds like a fantastic idea! And yes, those are bras hanging from the ceiling.

After getting my fill of a lot of Belgian beer (don’t judge, I’m walking everywhere), I went down to the “most famous spot for taking pictures.” And yes, I took some pictures. Wow, it’s brilliant even at 9pm…

See why I want to live here??!
