Today the sun was shining in such brilliant fashion that I decided to retrace my steps from yesterday and attempt “Europe’s most beautiful balcony” again. It is definitely better in the sunlight and I even had to get a few pictures of myself in there. If you follow the blog regularly, you might notice that I’m wearing this shirt in every single photo I have asked people to take of me. I don’t know how or why that happens but I don’t care. I think it’s funny.
However, in a change from yesterday, I walked down to the River because I wanted to see if I could recreate a really cool photo I saw online at ground level of the bridge in the last picture above.
And look who I ran into…the lovely Melusine. Well not her exactly but a really cool purple statue version.
After that bit of tourism, I found my bus stop for tomorrow’s ride to the airport because EVERYONE takes the bus to the airport in Luxembourg. It’s quite expensive to take a taxi, or so Leonardo (one of the AirBnB hosts) tells me. This will be an adventure. The last time I took a public bus in a foreign country, I cried because the bus driver was a jerk and wouldn’t break a larger bill because it was “too early.”
Tomorrow will make Country #20 and I’m told it’s a pretty awesome place! Stay tuned for an update and subscribe if you don’t want to miss out on posts.
