Why hello Country #20!

I managed to do 2 things today: step in gum and find the right bus to the airport from my AirBnB. The bus was really easy to take at 2 euros and took no longer than 25 minutes. The gum, was a bit stickier. Hahahahaha. Gotta find the humor in situations. Luckily I had tissues with me and cleaned most of it up. I got to the airport early – definitely a nervous traveler – and enjoyed lunch with some wine and beer. Don’t judge, I’m on holiday. I flew Luxair (my new favorite airline – hello free sandwich snack and free prosecco) to my 20th country:

Prague, Czech Republic

I love this country already. First, they have Uber so I didn’t need to get freaked out by a weird taxi dude overcharging me for a ride. And when the Uber driver dropped me off, he made sure I got in OK. Like he waited until someone opened the door for me. How nice of him! Then, as I was waiting for the check in guy, I met the nicest woman who chatted me up about how hot Prague was and how everyone was taking forever to answer doors. Her words, not mine. After getting into my room, I met a roommate named Chrissy who is from China and visiting friends here in Prague. When I was done making Chrissy jealous about my adventures around the world, I left to go explore my neighborhood and ran into the same woman. She showed me a church where some famous composer was married in the 1800s. Look how blue that sky is. This photo is not doctored and even more impressive when I tell you that less than 2 hours later, it started raining!!

The woman wished me luck on my travels and scurried off to find some relief from the heat. So I continued exploring my neighborhood. I’m very close to the town center and this hostel is really quite immaculate; you have to take your shoes off and they give you your own pair of slippers. I’m in an all female dorm again but with 3 other roommates. Can’t wait to explore Prague (or Praha as the locals say) but have to remember to bring my umbrella for sudden rain bursts. I love the rain in summer!
