Ok, ok. I know, enough of my posts. But if I don’t document it here, I may forget when/where I was and what I have done. I won’t bore you with too much of a recap but allow your mind to rest and “ooh and aah” over these pictures I took at the active geothermal area in New Zealand’s Taupo Volcanic Zone (27 kilometers south of Rotorua). And yes, I just summarized the first paragraph from Wikipedia. Thank you internet.
Lady Knox Geyser – unlike the geysers from yesterday that went off “unaided” by man, this geyser blew after a park ranger added an environmentally-friendly soap.

I lied, I have to provide commentary. I like the sound of my own writing. I don’t know who this lady is but I liked her bright pants against the grayish mud water.


I think that last photo is called “Artist’s Palette” which made me think of my mom back home. Hi Mom!
