Never in a million, gazillion years did I think I’d be back in Canada. For those of you that followed along last year’s Adventure, remember, I took the train from Vancouver to Toronto. This time around, I’m here in Montreal to attend the wedding of the century! I met Cate (the Bride) and her soon to be Groom (Tyler) in Budapest last year. Yep, somehow I convinced almost strangers to invite me to their wedding and somehow, Canada let me in. Eh!
My airport shuttle picked me up at 3am. Did you know the San Diego airport doesn’t even let passengers into the airport until 4am? My flight was scheduled to leave at 6:15 so needless to say, I had a lot of time to pull a Tom Hanks in Terminal. I never actually saw that movie but I’ve spent enough time in airports to know it wasn’t fun.
The man next to me on the 20 min flight from SD to LAX was really nice. I like nice travelers. The woman next to me on the LA to Canada flight was a different story. She was not nice. In fact, that b%^ch turned MY FAN off while I was sleeping. And I was middle seat. So when I asked to go to the bathroom, she allowed me to climb over her. I hope I smelled. I hope I stunk so bad that she vomited a little and realized if you’re aisle seat, you get the F up. This also happened on my flight:

What’s that you ask??! Well, I forgot to close the bag of pumpkin spice pumpkin seeds and they spilled all over my bag. Not cool. I blame that woman.
I went through Customs and couldn’t tell if the guys were flirting with me or not. I’ll say they were. My Uber driver said I should move here. He was definitely flirting. The guy at the checkin desk at my hotel was blushing. I consider that flirting. I’m getting the sense people don’t really look/act like me here. And I loooooooove it!!
Montreal at night is cute.

I’m so tired though that I went to eat Tapas and picked up a bottle of wine to relax. Tomorrow is a train ride to Ottawa and the wedding is on Saturday. I can’t wait!!!
Operation Canadian Green Card is in full effect.
Direct quote from my Mom: “Mija, if anything happens here, stay in Canada. Bring us over.” 🤣🤣🤣
